Considering the current situation of Corona in Gujarat, an important decision has been taken by the Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in the wider health interest of the students. This decision has been taken in the interest of comprehensive health care of students and children by conducting a comprehensive review of the transition status of the existing cores in the state in the meeting of the core committee chaired by the Chief Minister today.
State Government Spokesperson and Education Minister Jitu Waghani, while giving an introduction to the decision of the Core Committee, said that only online education in Std. 1 to 9 classes will continue in the state till February 5. He further said that the state government had earlier decided on January 7 that offline education in classes 1 to 9 would be closed till January 31.
After a comprehensive review of Corona’s transition status, which expires today, it has been decided to keep the offline-classroom education closed for even longer, i.e., February 5, the education minister added. By doing so, classroom teaching in schools will make the right decision regarding classroom education. Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi, Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Rajkumar and senior secretaries were also present at the meeting of the core committee.
